Florin Patras

I started working for Maxcode in July 2008 and I am responsible for the quality of all projects we deliver to customers.

I graduated the Automatic Control and Computer Engineering Faculty in 2006 and since then I have worked as a Quality Assurance Engineer on various projects starting with database-oriented ones and continuing with enterprise applications.

My role in the company is to make sure that a software program/application/product meets the business and technical requirements that guided its design and development. Through my work, I have to discover design defects and flaws in the implemented functionality before the product is launched into production. I am in charge of preparing and executing test plans, designing test cases, reporting the results, overseeing the regression and acceptance tests, while closely collaborating with software engineers and project managers. My job requires analytical thinking skills, attention to details, as well as communication and documentation skills.

I am constantly trying to improve my work and my interests are lately focused on automation testing, as it is the best way to increase the effectiveness, efficiency and coverage of the software testing.

Support project for iDEAL applications (iDEAL Notification System, iDEAL Desk, iDEAL Website, iDEAL Test Tool, iDEAL Issue Tracker)

Beter Coaching System (BCS)

The Beter Coaching System (BCS) allows coaches to coach employees of customer organizations of Beter, referred to as CE's (customer employees).

AcceptEmail

AcceptEmail delivers invoices, reminders, and notices directly to the trusted email inbox of clients. Electronically, secure, and fast.

The Paypers

The Paypers is the leading independent source of news and analysis for professionals in the global payment community.

Sanoma Online Registration Tool

The tool was used for registering participants at the Media Parade organized by Sanoma.

CONNECT

Central platform used by participants in the retail processing chain for reporting unavailability and automatically generate/send notifications to registered parties (Merchants, Issuers, etc.)

iDEAL Notification System

Central website used by iDEAL participating banks for stating unavailability of the iDEAL product, based on which the website will inform registered banks, merchants and PSPs.

iDEAL Test Tool (iTT)

The iDEAL Test Tool (iTT) is designed to allow parties implementing the iDEAL protocol to troubleshoot or test their solution.

iDEAL Campaign

On-line game meant to raise awareness of iDEAL as a payment method to more and more consumers.

Yowsim Training Environment

The project meant porting an existing Delphi application to a web based environment (ASP.Net and MS SQL Server).

MaxCredible

Maxcredible is an online solution for suppliers that sell products or services to consumers (B2C) or other businesses (B2B).

mBalance License Tool

The License Tool allows mBalance employees to concurrently and collaboratively work with the same application for generating and managing licences for their customers.

Golf

Application used by golf associations for managing their locations and members, as well as for flights planning and golf lessons.

Zorg

Complex system used by practices in The Netherlands for managing patients appointments, invoices, declarations.
