Dan Nicola

I have joined MAXCODE when the company was just starting its adventure in Romania. Since then I have been involved in various projects, for different types of industries, ranging from complex payment or health care systems to intranet portals and e-learning tools. At the moment I am responsible for the operation of our office in Iasi.

Over time, I grew more and more focused on software development methodologies and practices. I have been applying agile principles for several years and I am very passionate about guiding teams in becoming self organized and committed to delivering customer value at all times. I am a Certified Scrum Master and responsible, together with a larger team in MAXCODE, for initiating and successfully implementing Scrum practices at both company and team levels.

I am involved in the IT community in Romania, being a constant speaker at local events. I am also one of the co-founders of CodeCamp, one of the largest offline communities of software developers in Romania. I am always eager to talk about and share my knowledge with others, learning from them at the same time.

AcceptEmail

AcceptEmail delivers invoices, reminders, and notices directly to the trusted email inbox of clients. Electronically, secure, and fast.

Sanoma Online Registration Tool

The tool was used for registering participants at the Media Parade organized by Sanoma.

iDEAL Test Tool (iTT)

The iDEAL Test Tool (iTT) is designed to allow parties implementing the iDEAL protocol to troubleshoot or test their solution.

Yowsim Training Environment

The project meant porting an existing Delphi application to a web based environment (ASP.Net and MS SQL Server).

Special Portal for Special People

The “Special Portal for Special People” project creates an environment for mentally disabled people where they can communicate with their friends, their parents, and their caretakers.

MaxCredible

Maxcredible is an online solution for suppliers that sell products or services to consumers (B2C) or other businesses (B2B).

mBalance License Tool

The License Tool allows mBalance employees to concurrently and collaboratively work with the same application for generating and managing licences for their customers.

PAP Digitaal

PAP Digitaal is an automated tool that supports communications between commercial parties, risk parties and other participants within the PAP process.

Golf

Application used by golf associations for managing their locations and members, as well as for flights planning and golf lessons.

FourTop

The Generic Input Form is basically a custom form to enter data for a SharePoint list.

SmartPix

Smartpix technology allows real time rendering of pictures containing up-to-date information.

Summer School

An initiative meant to create a connection between he academic environment and the real working one.
