This complex application, with a minimalistic look & feel, is designed to be used by health care facilities (care center, individual practices) in The Netherlands for managing appointments and patients. The application is structured in modules, each practice having access to specific modules, based on its licensing conditions.
Practitioners have access to an agenda (similar to Outlook calendar) where they can create various types of appointments for patients (but also simple appointments or mutual appointments). Each patient has a patient file containing generic and specific details, but also the medical history based on consults they had within the practice. Practice assistants can also make appointments in the agenda of the practitioners and also view more agendas side by side.
The application provides also the possibility to integrate with a call center. As a following, call center agents can respond to calls when the practice personnel are not available and create appointments in the practitioners' agendas.
The debtor management module is used for invoicing patients for various procedures performed by practitioners during consults, as well as declaring to insurers (by integrating with VECOZO). By integrating with third-parties the system offers the possibility to check the correctness of a person details (using the BSN = person's unique identifier in the Netherlands) as well as retrieve the insurance policies a patient has with one or more insurers.
A patient portal integrated within each practice/care center website allows patients to register online and create appointments.
