"Summer School" is an academic initiative that took place under the auspices of the Romanian National Commission for UNESCO, supported by Maxcode & Code40, in partnership with the Technical University of Delft - Holland, the "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University, Microsoft Netherlands and Microsoft Romania.

Around 20 students were invited to work 40 days in a real system for a real client, under the guidance of a senior developer of Code40. The purpose is to make the connection between the academic environment and the real working one. There were 3 editions: 2006, 2007, 2008.

In 2010, "Summer School" has been nominated at Identity: Best of the best 2010 | World brand design contest/  С7 - Corporate Identity (Non-Commerce Organization) category and was one of the winners (3^rd place).
